*Side Effects May Include: MILD TO MODERATE DEATH* The mighty Slabdragger from London! Great album and band. Super thick riffs ala Crowbar, Superjoint, Eyehategod, Mastodon, Iron Monkey and Acid Bath . Favorite track: Iron Vulture.

Colin M. Those chainsaws they call guitars roar out some damn fine riffage, and the alternately screeching, roaring, and singing vocals compliment wonderfully. Add the truly huge drums and fuzztastic bass, and you have a damn fine album on your hands.

Brit Harvey At times the vocals get in the way , and are firmly in the grower category . But musically, be careful not to snap your head off your neck. Favorite track: Bab el-Mandeb.

Charge through thick waters Red sea I must follow Stark winds, cold air swallow To the gulf of Aden, horn of Africa Rough seas, Perim pirates They will sell your child No souls, only lust for gold We shall not abide Charge through thick waters Sever the face of the wind Many have sank at the bridge of tears But we shall prevail To the islands we surge The seven brothers await us Sever the face of the wind

Unsafe, not so sharp Sub par, blundermaster Failsafe, disengaged Sub par, must think faster Erroneous Maximus

“Steer clear!” cried the sailmaster Through the rain and mist we roam Don’t be fooled by mother nature The fight is won, but not yet are we home Drop some rum into the sea One more for our fallen brothers Take this and take to thee They daren’t die in vain Along the horizon Drink and song won’t break till we make it home The beast is now no more We fought with heart and steel With every ounce of our souls Splice the mainbrace! Drink up!

Iron Vulture 09:46
Iron vulture of the sand Technological puppetry Behold the weight of it’s will Scavenger of the dune Hunting for scrap, shaking the ground Enslaving all in its wake Mechanical beast Tearing through the desert sun Beware sandcrawler Mammoth chunk of death Hide from its iron purpose Daunting sheets of rust Search for remains Charging forth, crawling north Merchants of solid mass Disintegration, disfiguration Selling mechanical lives Descending corrosion, a beacon of light Dragging throughout the night Crushing skulls of bantha Crushing skulls Harvesting steel unbound Harvesting steel

Murky Fen 04:34
Desolate hole of despair Moulding black swampland Subhuman mutations dwell Vicious pit of mildewed stench Murky fen, inbred inhabitants Darkest of lifeless wasteland Cornered in the ends of Earth Decaying mire, void of humanity As far as the eye can see
7.
Woe Betide 06:19
Woe is me…

Set sights, navigate To unearth superstrain Destination golden trail Himalaya hessian bound Shamanic chillum Brings forth wisdom Clean hands accumulate Desired plan: temple ball Sights were set, we’ve arrived And unearthed the superstrain
